Have you ever wanted to join an international effort to spread goodwill and the spirit of giving back? Volunteers from Mini Price Storage did! February is national heart month, and our employees gave right from their hearts by volunteering time at The Breakthrough Center making children’s hospital gowns for the thirty-year-old international charity Operation Smile.
The Breakthrough Center is an outreach on the Peninsula that helps organizations and individuals in need. Their work primarily supports the homeless, disadvantaged, and veterans. As part of Operation Smile, the Center put together a team of volunteers to cut out patterns and sew together pint-sized hospital gowns for children undergoing cleft pallet operations.
Mini Price Storage gladly supported the Center in reaching its goal of hand-crafting 100 hospital gowns. As part of our ongoing operations, we encourage our employees to get involved in their community and make a difference. We encourage you to get out there and make a difference, too!
