Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) Prince William provides relief, hope, and self-sufficiency for Prince William residents in crisis due to hunger, homelessness, and interpersonal violence. They created the Hunger Prevention Center (HPC) because they believe everyone deserves to save enough food. This center now provides over 75,000 food every month to over 2,000 people. In addition to providing access to nutritious foods, the HPC ACTS Health and Wellness Program offers avenues to knowledge about cooking for specific dietary needs and even cooking on a budget with Wegman’s Head Chefs. This center, along with many other ACTS efforts, relies heavily on donations from the community to continue its work. Donating is easy.
