The Mayflower Marathon—the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s largest holiday food drive—is just around the corner! Our Hampton Roads and Williamsburg locations have begun collecting donations for this impactful event, and we invite you to join us. Now through November 21st, simply stop by one of our locations and drop off your donation of non-perishable, unexpired food, and we’ll be sure to drop it off at their 72 hour collection event in Virginia Beach.
This year marks the 28th Annual Mayflower Marathon Holiday Food Drive, scheduled for November 22-24, 2024. For over 27 years, this drive has provided millions of meals to families across Southeastern Virginia, bringing nourishment, joy, and relief to those experiencing food insecurity.
Last year’s event was truly inspiring, with enough food and funds raised to provide over 750,000 meals. This powerful community effort each year helps ensure that more families can gather together over holiday meals, creating cherished memories and embodying the spirit of the season.
