Label, label, and label again! Even though you know what you’re putting in your storage unit that doesn’t mean in six months when you need back you won’t be digging for hours and opening random boxes until you find what you need. Label everything! Whether it is in a box, wrap, or some other type of container. It is even a good idea to make a checklist that hangs inside the door of your storage unit listing where something might be (back left corner under the table).
