At Mini Price Storage, community involvement is very important to us. Recently, our Norfolk, VA team volunteered with the local Girl Scouts during their annual cookie distribution event, helping to organize and distribute thousands of cookie boxes to local troops. It was an incredibly fun opportunity to give back and support an organization that empowers young girls to become future leaders.
The Girl Scouts of America is more than just cookies—it’s about building courage, confidence, and character. Through programs that promote leadership, financial literacy, community service, and STEM education, the Girl Scouts help shape young minds for a brighter tomorrow. Their iconic cookie sales teach essential skills like goal setting, decision-making, money management, and teamwork.
Our team was proud to assist in the massive undertaking of distributing cookies, ensuring that local troops had everything they needed for a successful cookie season. Volunteering at events like this strengthens community ties and supports future leaders’ positive development.
Want to get involved? There are plenty of ways to support the Girl Scouts—from volunteering and donating to simply buying your favorite box of cookies. Together, we can help empower the next generation and continue to build stronger communities.
At Mini Price Storage, we’re committed to making a difference—both in business and in our neighborhoods. Thank you to the Girl Scouts for letting us be part of something so sweet!
