Today, marks the first day of the Christmas Depot distribution of toys, clothing, and food to more than 39,000 individuals in the Hampton Roads communities this Christmas season. Mini Price Storage, WVEC-TV, United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots, and The Joy Fund, are sponsoring The Salvation Army’s local Christmas Deport.
Distribution to registered families and individuals will run from Monday, December 10th through Monday, December 17th from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Depot will be closed on Sunday, December 16th. During distribution, The Salvation Army will serve approximately 60 families every 15 minutes beginning at 9:00 a.m. and closing at 4:00 p.m.
