ForKids is working to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for families and children in Southeastern Virginia. Since 1988, this group has developed a team of trauma-informed, deeply driven individuals who create a system to help children and families thrive. Their values include stable housing, excellent education, and a healthy, diverse community to uplift the welfare of their families. Their solutions include after-school tutoring, life skills training, job coaching, housing placement, and a crisis hotline, to name a few. These services help thousands get to where they need to be every year with the tools to stay there. They need help from the community to assist in their mission.
