What do we mean by heating and cooling?
Heating and cooling refer to the air system of our facilities with a degree of temperature control. It takes the edge off the extreme temperatures of the year, limiting the effects of the highs and lows. By using this feature, we also create a more comfortable move-in experience for our customers.
Is it necessary?
In these hot and humid months of summer, it is incredibly beneficial to use heated and cooled units. As the temperatures climb high, our system offsets their effects, creating a better storage experience. It is also necessary for the middle of winter when temperatures crawl low.
Is it green?
Yes, our heating and cooling systems run under a high-efficiency operation. While this low energy usage helps the environment, it also helps our customer experience by producing low noise.
Which facilities offer heating and cooling?
All of our facilities offer heating and cooling. We see the value in this tool, and we offer heated and cooled units at no extra cost at every location across Virginia.

Hands-down the best customer experience. I love that they are temperature-controlled and have a great security system. Also super clean -Ambur L., Valley Drive location
The storage facility is very clean inside and out. Temperature controlled inside units are a great bonus, so you’re not outside in the cold while going through your unit. Nice security gives peace of mind. Employees are kind and helpful. Great place to store your stuff. -Joseph M., Call Federal location
I was a bit worried about finding a storage unit that was clean and well taken care of, but this place has been amazing. The units are temperature controlled, which helps to store an array of items. So glad I found this place and have recommended it to others. -Morgann T., Pouncey Tract location
