Mini Price Storage Supports Area Food Banks’ Efforts

Employees at Mini Price Storage pulled together once again to give back to their communities. For six weeks, they collected cans of food and non-perishable items to give to our local food banks. They put boxes in their lobbies, had contests, and partnered with area apartment communities. In the end, 68 boxes of food were donated with an average of fifty cans per box. And, in addition to the food donations, $989.14 in cash was collected.

According to the Southeast Virginia Foodbank, “The food bank can distribute over 60 meals with a $20 donation!” That means this year’s food drive provided not only 68 boxes of groceries to help restock shelves at the food banks but also funded about 2967 meals.

Mini Price Storage would like to thank all of our employees and customers for their generous contributions and hope these efforts will also provide one of the happiest Thanksgivings for the many people in need in our communities!
