Virginia Beach Pub Sets the Bar During Pandemic

In Virginia Beach, many Town Center businesses closed earlier in the week but now provide zero-touch services.  This includes curbside pick-up and delivery services, gift cards, to-go specials, wellness opportunities, and online shopping alternatives.  Some others, like Keagan’s Irish Pub, are closing altogether.  Keagan’s closed their doors the night before St. Patrick’s Day, their biggest night of the year.  With this closure, they are making sure all those on in our community are safe.  Not only that, but they are also donating hundreds of pounds of food to the Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore to benefit many communities across all of southeastern Virginia.  In the words of their general manager, Jason Janezeck, “If we take the short-term loss for the betterment of the long-term goal… we can come out of this situation a little better.”
