Volunteers at Foodbank SEVA

Our Hampton Roads team is passionate about feeding their local community. We joined the ranks of Eastern Shore Chapel volunteers. They have a food pantry that benefits the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore (SEVA). Sites like these can receive up to 10,000 pounds of food daily. These pounds need to be organized, stored, and distributed to different community members by the next day. Community volunteers make a world of difference to food pantries like the one we serviced. Only a few hours of your time can make a huge impact in our community!

How to Help

If you can, help your neighbors by donating some of your time to the food bank. This time can include sorting food or distributing it to those that need these resources. You can also start your own food pantry or become an advocate for legislative action for others facing food insecurity. Find out more here!
