The YWCA South Hampton Roads is one branch of the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world. They are determined to eliminate racism and empower women throughout the area. Their programs exist to aid sexual and domestic violence survivors, provide quality affordable child care while battling racism in the community. By providing emergency shelter over the last 40 years, the YWCA of South Hampton Roads is a critical resource for survivors.
They have adapted to this world with COVID, and with these new changes come new needs. Before they allow anyone into their shelters, they need two-week quarantine. These families in quarantine do not have much to their name. The YWCA is asking for Welcome Basket donations. These Welcome Baskets include supplies to help them with essentials and with passing the time in quarantine. Mini Price Storage is happy to be able to donate Welcome Baskets to those who need it most as they wait to enter the YWCA shelter. If you can, they would love any other donations the community can offer. They are also accepting contributions if you would prefer to make a tax-deductible gift.
